THE STAFF WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL, THE ROOMS WAS CLEAN, AND THE ECONO LODGE WAS CLOSE TO THE MALL AND DOWNTOWN.
MY KEY CARD HAD TO BE REACTIVATED AFTER THE FIRST NIGHT.
Breakfast was poor no choices no eggs. Wife has celiac's could not eat anything
I like every think. The room was very good and the staff was very nice.
Everything. You should have fresh fruit, yogurt, healthy whole grains, and decent coffee.
Not enough variety for breakfast.
Better breakfast, larger bar of soap
staff was friendly
The building is old and in need of upgrade. The room was a little rough, but overall clean. Alarm clock did not work. TV was marginal in its offerings. Water tastes bad. Understanding that it has an industrial clientele, it is a bit beat up. Price way too high even for graduation weekend. Breakfast was marginal
The value was good enough.
The first issue I had was the man that cleaned the rooms in the morning a such strong body odor that you could smell him from the far end of the hall. When I walked passed him I gagged at the smell After that it was some small details. There were hairs stuck in the shower curtain and on the shower wall The bathroom sink was slow to drain and the paint was peeling around the bathroom. The ceiling was patches but there were still chunks missing. The main room was ok. The paint job was sloppy along the chair rail and I just felt rushes.
We booked it fast and got reservations right away!
It was a run down town. I don't know if the whole town was like this, but I was a bit surprised at the level of security
It was just old. Our beds were great, it was clean...just tired and needing love...the whole town was like that, from the brief section we saw. I know that Morgantown is nicer than this...we just captured a glimpse
Carpets kind of smelled and we prefer a king bed but wasn't available , otherwise was ok for the night .
Comfortable, close to resturants.
Access door to hallway did not close & lock.
Bed was comfortable enough. Channel options on the TV were good. Updated vanity. Staff were friendly.
The hotel smelled strongly like Indian food. We thought a family might be living there. In my opinion a hotel should have a clean and neutral smell. The sink was leaking in our room (210)...I was worried they would think it was us that broke it. The shower curtain was dirty, walls dirty, doors dirty and floor dirty. It didn't smell like smoke though, which was good. The price was not very good considering... We are Canadian and because the dollar is so bad, it came to about $100 Canadian for us, for the night, which was a lot to pay for such a poor hotel and such a short amount of time (we were traveling home). Coffee was not good. No coffee maker in room. No yogurt or fruit for breakfast just waffle maker, cereal and some small muffins and juice. I went to McDonald's for breakfast instead. I understand it is an "Econo lodge" but I've seen cheaper or same price for a night, for a better quality hotel.
This isn't a fancy hotel, it is cheap and cheerful and filled its purpose, near to the highway and a good place to stop for the night. I wasn't expecting much, but it was clean and comfortable. There was a fair bit of noise from the hall, but a good hotel and a fair price.
Slightly noisy clientele...
Convenient to the Interstate.
Room was dirty, particularly the bathroom. These days I guess $60 can't even buy a clean room. Non-smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke. No coffee maker in room. Coffee urn was dry in the breakfast area. Very noisy, but then it was a Saturday night. The view from our window was a trailered boat blocking any view there might have been - real class.
Staff (owners) would not get off the phone when I was checking out. That lack of respect makes a client feel as though their business is not important.
